Canton Famille Rose or Rose Medallion started to be produced in the 1800s for export to the west. It evolved from the Jingdezhen Famille Rose that was developed beforehand. The pig in Chinese culture symbolizes wealth, luck, and prosperity. Even images on Google are hard to find.
Condition is excellent, commensurate with age. Just the usual crazing of the glaze over time.
46cm long, 23cm high approximately. Large size and quite heavy.
