Antique Chinese Pottery Porcelain Vase Pair 19thC Large Size 40cm Tongzhi

This is a pair of large antique Chinese porcelain vases dating to the latter half of the 19th century and decorated in the style of the Tongzhi period, with flowers and root vegetables in bowls amidst precious objects such as tables, porcelain such as brush pots, and writing implements. Measuring 40cm tall each and weighing 5.6kg in total they are in excellent decorative condition - one vase has a 3cm chip on the foot (see photo 8) and the other vase has had the foot broken off about 6cm from the bottom, and very neatly re-stuck (see photo 7).
