Chinese Qingbai'Boys' Ewer & Cover, Southern Song Dynasty. A fine Qingbai porcelain ewer and cover with a pale ice-blue glaze. Dating from the Southern Song Dynasty (1127 - 1279). He globular body has a strap handle and slender spot and is incised with three cherubic boys among lotus blooms.
Measures 12.5cm from spout to handle and 9.5cm tall. There is some light staining / discolouration around the handle, the tip of the spout and the cover and the glaze is unfused with tiny brown spots / bubbles in places.
