Hatcher Shipwreck Chinese Porcelain Dragon Wine Cup c1643 Hand painted in cobalt blue with a writhing dragon amongst the clouds protecting a sacred jewel. According to Chinese mythology, the dragon (emperor), guards it's sacred jewel which represents wisdom and purity, from dark sources trying to steal it.

The Hatcher Cargo was recovered from the South China seas by Captain Michael Hatcher in 1983.
