Lovely Antique c1850 Chinese Xianfeng Famille Rose Cylindrical Brush Pot 12cm. A really beautifully decorated Xianfeng period famille rose cylindrical brush pot dating from the mid-nineteenth century. The detailed hand-painted image is of an elder with two children sitting under the branches of a pine tree. The pot is in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks or restoration and very few firing imperfections.
There is a very clear Xianfeng kaishu mark to the base. The pot would benefit from cleaning but I have left it in its original condition. The pot is 12cm high, 9.6cm diameter and weighs 438g.
